Poster Framing

Generally, these items tend to be quite large and need to be professionally framed.  With poster framing, our main consideration is its value; both monetary and sentimental.  We also need to consider the condition of the poster or map in order to decide on the best technique for framing.

They often come to us looking a little creased, especially if the map has been folded.  Sometimes, we can use a process called ‘Dry-Mounting’ which will help to flatten out those creases.  However our decision whether or not to use this technique will be discussed with you first along all other professional considerations for best practice.
